Registered Find Basics

Interpretation

    • NAMESTONE Colour - mid brown with small patches of white and light pink where the surface has been scraped away. Shape - upper right corner with curved upper surface. Outer surfaces are smooth with no evidence of carved decoration. Side 1 - mostly flat but with several chips missing, including a large deep section (12-15mm) in the centre. Side 2 - Flat with approx. 6 parallel shallow ridges. Contains the right half of a circular indentation which does not appear to have been intentional. The 2 broken edges are irregular and rough. Weight = 1521g Dimensions = in excess of 205 x 126 x 35mm
