Narrative

    • East-West aligned burial containing SK2301 lying on its right side near the South-West corner of trench 2 (West). Both the cut and the fill were not distinguishable from the surrounding graveyard soil but it is assumed the cut would have been originally rectangular in keeping with other examples in the vicinity. Whilst no relationships with other features were established, it is likely this grave is contemporary with the Norman era cemetery located here as it conforms with the alignment and layout of other burials
