Narrative

    • The top of a skull was exposed protruding from the eastern section of trench 2 (west) but was not investigated any further. Given its proximity to other graves nearby also within the same graveyard soil (2164), it is probable that it is part of an articulated grave itself, although no associated cut and fill were visible from the minimal area exposed. Further investigation would be necessary to confirm if this was indeed an in situ grave.
