Narrative

    • A burial seen in the NW extension of trench 2. This was the burial of a noticeably small individual, the cut was 1.6m long, 0.47m wide and 0.13m deep. The burial was aligned east to west with the skull to the west. There appeared to be a partial stone lining, two of the stones from wall F213 were either side of the legs and another stone was stood on it's edge by the skull. The burial was fully extended and supine with hands either side of the pelvis, the left hand resting on it. There was evidence of scoliosis from the spine and the individual would have only been around 5 foot tall.
