Short Description:
Skeleton within grave 2577 just north of the metalworking area
Issued to
Ben Swain | 30/09/2023

Interpretation

    • Partially exposed skeleton - lower legs and feet only exposed. It is expected that this individual was buried aligned W-E with the head at the west in the early christian tradition. The feet were at the eastern end of the grave. This individual was buried just north of the metalworking area and the grave fill contained some pieces of charcoal/burnt clay and associated metalworking debris
