Short Description:
Stoney fill of pit [2529] F741, truncating ditch F707.
Issued to
Caroline Beason | 21/09/2023

Interpretation

    • Stoney/rubbly fill of small pit [2529] F741. This pit is at least of early medieval origin as it is truncated by likely early medieval grave F738. The pit itself truncates ditch F707 and likely represents a small pit excavated to dispose of unwanted material such as stone/rubble and other refuse.
