Short Description:
Cut of possible pit truncating ditch F707
Issued to
Rosie O'Toole | 16/09/2023

Interpretation

    • Cut of a small likely circular pit containing a rubble/stoney fill. This pit is likely early medieval in origin or earlier as it is truncated by grave F738, a likely early medieval burial. It is possible this pit was dug to dispose of unwanted rubble.
