Short Description:
Fill in grave in the middle of the metalworking pit
Issued to
Rosie O'Toole | 16/09/2023

Interpretation

    • Fill of grave [2534] containing SK2525. This material contained high quantities of metalworking debris, charcoal, burnt clay and hearth lining fragments. It is likely that the grave was dug through metalworking pit F206 and backfilled with the same material, which is why it contains such frequent metalworking waste.
