Short Description:
silty material within and below the stones of wall 2359
Issued to

2187

Interpretation

    • This silty material was revealed directly below the stones of wall 2359 and is likely contemporary with its construction. A patch of charcoal (SAM262) was recovered from this layer directly underneath and adhering to one of the large mudstone facing stones of the wall for C14 dating. This date will likely provide a construction origin for the wall.
