Stratigraphic Matrix

  • Equal To

    No Linked Records

Description

  • Loose, crumbly in places. There were voids.
  • Mid reddish brown
  • Clayey silt
  • In the looser areas there was more gravel. There was the rare piece of stone.
  • Length - 1.78 Width - 0.54 - 0.33 Depth - 0.23
  • In the matrix this takes place after the stone capping because the loose nature of the grave soil seems to be post depositional. This is because compared to the other graves in the area the grave soil was much looser.
  • Hand axe in a mixture of dry and wet conditions
