Description

  • This individual is buried lying on their back and orientated SW-NE
  • Mandible is detached from skull and faces south east, rest of skull slightly slumped to the north west
  • Right arm is relaxed at elbow with right wrist and hand positioned across the abdomen.
  • Left arm is flexed at elbow with wrist and hand crossed on top of the right hand on the abdomen
  • Extended
  • Extended. Was a pathology on the lower leg, and at the knee
  • Ankles together. Feet seems to be butting up against the cut
  • It was good. Skull was slightly disturbed. Hands were not found in situ. Ribs were in generally good condition but with some breakages. They had not collapsed down onto each other.
  • Good condition. Very little damage occurred on lifting.
  • The stone capping has been put after the burial in the matrix as there was probably a void.
