Interpretation
-
- A relatively thin layer probably encompassing some overburden from backfill and subsoil deposits. When it was removed at least one burial has been revealed as has a small shelly patch located near F221, possible a small pit.

- Compact friable
- Grey brown
- Silty clay
- Occasional small stones, occasional charcoal flecks
- Length - 4.10m Width - 4.04m Thickness - 0.05m
- Small finds 2020: 207 Ferrous object Object x1 10g Irregular shaped, length 16.5mm, width 16.5mm (at widest point), depth 12.5mm (at thickest point), rough surface with rectangularish shaped feature at one end of one side (10x18mm) that appears more 'rusty' than the rest, corroded, orangey-brown 208 Lead Object x1 50g "irregular shaped - thin cylinder at one end expanding to a wider cylinder at the other Narrow end: Diameter 6.5mm Wide end: Diameter 16.5-19mm cream/light brown with some dark speckles"
