Explore the open archaeological data from our digs at Lindisfarne

  • I recently left my job in an academic library to have a bit of time out and explore a bit of the U.K. ( I live in Jersey). I have followed DigVentures activities for a while. I am a member of a local archaeology section and I dig with the Ice Age Island programme in Jersey run by UCL and the British Museum.
  • I watched David Petts live screening of a lecture he gave at University of York about Lindisfarne (my daughter is there doing her MA). When you announced that you were digging there too, I thought that was a great opportunity to dig at such an amazing site.
  • A trench with a view, the iconic site, being part of Lindisfarne. I’m from Jersey so I loved the island environment. Interesting to see a different geology than where I am from.
