  • I am retired from paid work. I am often found digging in one of two gardens, I coach athletics to people with intellectual disabilities, I marshal at various sport events. play two sports and have a couple of secretary posts.
  •  I want to be involved for several reasons I have an interest in archeology. I have never done it before and I have an interest in Lindisfarne..I have visited as a tourist, through work and as a pilgrim walking St Cuthberts Way. I enjoy history, research and have an interest in the monastery for all it achieved both locally and nationally. The oldest standing church in the country at Bradwell was built by St Cedd who left the monastery and sailed down to Essex.
  • 2017: I really enjoyed my experience of being a novice for two days in the monastery (Trench One). I feel inspired to get more involved and intend joining my local archeological society. 2018: Being more involved with some of the scientific research that goes into archaeology
