- I’m a freelance software developer. My educational background is that I have a degree in Physics from Birmingham University (1981) and an MSc in Experimental Space Physics from Leicester University (1983).
- I decided to support next year’s dig because I’ve enjoyed being involved with both of the last 2 digs on Lindisfarne
- I would say seeing the finds process close up and understanding what happens to the stuff once it is found. The cleaning process and the sorting. It gives me a good understanding of how things get categorised and how it’s all related to what is being found back on site
