Interpretation
-
- Late medieval, homogenous and deepened plough soil (buried Ap). Note that the pottery is green-grazed, with red fabric. The quantit of finds is significantly more here, and the soil siltier than in Trench 5 (excavated in 2018). The high quantity of finds is probably related to the material originally in ditch [6008] which was truncated by ploughing (the materia thereby spread through (6002)

- Structure = medium subangular blocky and medium-fine crumb structure
