Interpretation
-
- cut of a grave aligned W-E in the early christian tradition containing SK2561 with the head to the west. This burial was truncated through the southern edge of metalworking pit F206. It contained large quantities of charcoal/burnt clay and some copper slag droplets as well as possible hearth lining in the fill. This is likely redeposited material from the excavation of the grave which was cut through metalworking deposits.
