Interpretation
-
- E-W aligned skeleton with the head to the west lying supine extended in the traditional early Christian fashion. This burial is cut through wall 2359 and could potentially provide a C14 date for the latest point the wall could have been constructed.

- Supine extended
- Face up slightly tilted forward
- Upper arm extended along right side of body, lower arm crossing to the centre of the pelvis
- Upper arm extended along the left side of the body, lower arm crossing to the centre of the pelvis
- Lying supine extended alongside the left leg
- Lying supine extended alongside the right leg
- Feet not visible extending into Eastern LOE
- Average to fair levels of preservation - some degeneration of vertebrae and ribs
- Some fragmentation of the bone
