Short Description:
Undisturbed rubble core of wall 2345

Interpretation
-
- This material likely represents the undisturbed rubble core of wall 2345. Potentially one of the earliest walls revealed so far, it was considered important to keep this deposit separate from the more disturbed/spilt out rubble wall core (2394) to ensure samples were not contaminated with later material, though the two contexts are likely the same. Consisting of a fairly dense and compacted poorly sorted array of small to medium sized sandstone/limestone pieces, this rubble core lay between the large facing boulders of wall 2345 - a possible pre-monastic wall
