Short Description:
Cut of stone lined box
Issued to
Frederick Wannop | 19/09/2021
Interpretation
-
- Cut made to place stone in stone lined box. The purpose of the box is unclear, perhaps there was once a burial in it that has since been removed, or perhaps it was a base for a wooden cross, or perhaps it held water, or something else

- There are graves around but to be honest it is not clear what order they happen in. There was one burial SK2107 on top of the stone lined box after it had been filled with rubble [2113]. And two burials either side the one to the south F234 seemed to be later as the burial butted up against the stone lining. The one to the north had no relationship that could be seen due to difficulties in seeing cuts.
