Description
- Firm
- Mid orangey brown
- Sandy silty clay
- Small sub-rounded gravel Shell
- This layer was revealed through a sondage at the eastern end of trench. It is below a firm layer of gravel. Human remains seem increasingly articulated and intact with less damage, suggesting this layer is less disturbed by ploughing.
