Interpretation

    • Many small flints present as well as charcoal areas. Possible post hole in Grid C. Possible flint working area.

    • Mid grey brown sandy clay with frequent flint pebble inclusions and occasional chalk. Deposit recorded between twin ditches [1006 & 1008] as an interleaving layer, probably comprising part of the adjacent bank.
