Registered Find Basics

Interpretation

    • This bear pelvis dates back to the late glacial period that ended around 14,700 years ago. It was found inside Victoria Cave and the context suggests that the animal died during hibernation. The bone is currently archived in the Tot Lord collection in Yorkshire.
