- Post-Roman bone comb from Victoria Cave
Interpretation

- "(L. 6.775 cm) Majority of a double sided one piece comb with most of the teeth, spaced c.1.5mm centre to centre on both sides surviving. One end complete with a rather sinuous edge, circular perforation in central convex projection, ring and dot decoration front and back and an angular decline in tooth length on both sides. One side plate remains, relatively wide and flat with two of a line of double ring and dots each surrounded by four single ring and dots. Three iron rivets survive." Accessioned in the T Lord Collection.
