Registered Find Basics

Interpretation

    • This bear skull is from the late glacial period and between 15,000 and 14,000 years old. Found inside Victoria Cave, surrounding finds suggest that the bear died during hibernation. The skull is currently archived in the Tot Lord collection in Yorkshire.
