Interpretation

    • This Romano-British brooch has a diameter of 3.68cm. It is made of copper and would once have gleamed like gold. The engraved pattern was popular with the Roman military in Britain. The pin has not been captured by the photogrammetry, but is still present on the original. Accessioned in the T Lord Collection.
