Interpretation

    • With a length of 4.12 cm, this Romano-British brooch belongs to the most common type of trumpet brooches. It was found at the back of Victoria Cave, possibly deposited in the context of a Romano-British cave cult, sometime after 70AD. Accessioned in the T Lord Collection.
