Registered Find Basics

Interpretation

    • The bilaterally barbed reindeer antler point was recovered in 1870, beneath the screes at the entrance to Chamber A. The antler point is dated to the Late Upper Palaeolithic a date of 10,846 ±153 BC (Lord & Howard 2013). This gives an indication of post glacial human migration into the Craven area. This Item is under curation at the Craven Museum, Skipton.
