- NE-SW aligned evaluation trench through the possible earthworks measuring approximately 12m by 2m
- The south side of another mound in the NW corner trench originally meant to 6m long by 5m wide though in the field changed to 12x2m as more of an evaluation trench. Aligned to the north through the mound N-S, the trench investigated an opposing possible twin banqueting house linked by the walkway. The trench turned out to be relatively empty and possibly more likely to be related to some earth or water works.
