Basic Information

  • Possibly the remains of a garden path with some slippage of stones/ debris from an ephemeral structure on top of the mound overlying it (stone roof tiles and nails were found in the deposit) or alternatively an intentional stone dump at the bottom of the mound to support it and/or aid in drainage.
