Interpretation

    • #1 - roughly made ?limestone disc. One face has a series of parallel scratch marks on the surface. Diameter 75.7mm, thickness 21.1mm. Weight 186.23g. #2 - roughly shaped sandstone disc. Diameter 71.5mm, thickness 20.1mm. Weight 140.59g.

    • #1 Circular disc. One smooth face and one rough face, which has shallow grooves on it, possibly from sharpening. Lithology = Magnesian limestone. Weight = 187g; D= 71>76mm; Th= 32mm. #2 Oval disc. One smooth fac and one rough face. Lithology = Coal Measures sandstone. Weight = 14g; D= 61.70mm; Th= 10mm. (Shaffrey, R. (2021)
