Description

  • Sandy clay
  • 10% charcoal flecks 10% white flecks (poss. limestone?) 10% small to medium subangular pebbles
  • 1m x 1m x 0.20m as excavated
  • (20001) was half-sectioned to reveal (20002). A concentration of pebbles/gravel found in NW corner of sondage. (20002) was then extended to cover entire extent of test pit. Garden soil with modern finds including plastic and charred wood.
