- Masters student in archaeology at Cardiff University
- I used to run past the camp on my lunchtime runs from the Thornbury office, and it's always fascinated me. The Avon Levels is a very enigmatic area (I love running and cycling round here) and why a group of people decided to build the camp is a question not easily answered. So the chance to dig the camp, whilst studying prehistory was one I couldn't turn down!
- Digging the hillfort bank, and the way you could see how it was actually built. Feeling part of the team... And drinking tea!
