Short Description:
Stone surface in silty clay
Issued to

Interpretation

    • Stone surface could be surface of old road. First edition OS map of area shows that the road was once wider, possibly extending as far as the front garden where the test pit is located. However, OS map also shows that the road adheres to current property boundaries. Could be cobbled yard.
