Narrative

    • An alignment of rubble/stones (2010) running east to west located immediately north of walls (2008) and (2012). The space between the rubble/stone (2010) and walls (2008) and (2012) was infilled (2009) which appeared to be equivant to the subsoil matrix (2002). The feature was not excavated, and its purpose remains uncertain. It is possible that it represented a foundation for a timber-built structure, or may be a rubble collapse related to the abandonment.

Dating Narrative

    • Its chronology remains unclear as no dating material was recovered. The spread of stones F7 may speculatively have been the foundations for an adjacent structure or may in fact relate to the subsequent wall collapse of the adjacent buildings.
