    • Cut of large feature that is a possible quarry pit with burning in the upper fills. Rectangular/ovoid pit with steep to vertical sides and base not seen. The break of slope at the top was sharp and the bottom was not seen.

    • Bright reddish orange brown silty clay fill in circular feature under (3017). Compact friable bright reddish brown clay with occasional charcoal flecks and occasional small to medium stones.

    • Large wall in SW corner of trench 3 on E-W alignment. Both North and south faces seen. Rubble core extremely solid, appears to have been well mortared. Wall plaster evident in patches on south face, sample taken as sample no. 15. Another band of wall plaster or mortar evident in line where wall abuts 3025.
