- Large wall in SW corner of trench 3 on E-W alignment. Both North and south faces seen. Rubble core extremely solid, appears to have been well mortared. Wall plaster evident in patches on south face, sample taken as sample no. 15. Another band of wall plaster or mortar evident in line where wall abuts 3025.

- Reddish brown clay leveling/foundation layer under 3023 in southern end of trench 3. Firm reddish brown slightly silty clay with very occasional stones.
