    • Soft friable light yellow sand under (4011) capped by burning lens from which a sample was taken. Soft friable, light yellow brown, silty sand, occasional charcoal and small stones.

    • Possible poorly made rebuild of wall 4027 after a burning event. Dolostone and reused roof slates, Largest stone 0.40m×0.14m, finish of stones very rough/poor, random coursing, possible foundation of wall rebuild, faces N-S and bonding material whitish like mortar with gravel inclusions.
