Short Description:
Return of wall 4038. Dolostone/ limestone, Largest - 0.37 x 0.6 and smallest 0.03x 0.10, average 0.26x 0.15 size of materials, combination of roughly hewn and dressed, roughly coursed and limestone mortar bonding, wall foundation, faces are east and west, hard light whitish mortar with very small sub angular stones <5%.

- This wall represents the north south return of wall 4038. It likely represents part of the earliest phase of structure within trench 4. walls 4027, 4047, 4025 and 4026 are all built up against this wall
