Short Description:
Brownish layer butting up against walls underneath (4016). Firm mid red/ orange brown sandy silt with 20% small limestone/ mortar chunks and sub angular stones. Same as (4032)

  • Context initially thought to have charcoal within so sampled however may well have been leeching from 4032. About 60% of context likely to have been removed during 2019 excavation.
