Short Description:
Silty Layer with rubble, beneath rubble layer 4004 (outside of building). Soft mid greyish brown sandy silt with 30% small - medium limestone rubble including thin longer potential roof tiles.

Interpretation

    • Layer of silty rubble visible across most of the trench. Context split with 4009 for inside/outside of structures. This silting layer likely represents the silting of the site after demolition and abandonment.
