Short Description:
Dense band of rubble within circular feature, under 3015 and above 3018, it had a moderately loose yellow brown silty clay matrix with frequent medium sized stones within it.

Interpretation

    • A dense rubble/stony fill of a large feature in the centre of trench 3. It was made up mostly of the stones but held together loosely by a yellow brown silty clay. There were no finds within this fill. It may have been a dump of building material that had come from the walls in the area around it.
