Short Description:
Bright reddish orange brown silty clay fill in circular feature under (3017). Compact friable bright reddish brown clay with occasional charcoal flecks and occasional small to medium stones.

Interpretation

    • A compact clay that had been burnt making it a bright reddish brown, there were no finds in this fill. It was slightly less compact than (3017), more biscuit-y in texture.
