Short Description:
Layer underneath door block up. Mid reddish brown sandy silt with 5% gravel, 5% angular stones (5cm) and <1% charcoal inclusions.

Interpretation

    • An accumulation of sandy silt with small stone inclusions observed beneath the blocking of the door within wall (1002). This may have been part of a floor deposit, although this suggestion remains debatable.
