Interpretation

    • A stone sub-spherical bead with possible mould line and a central aperture probably ceramic possibly dating to 1350 – 1500 AD. The form and function of stone or ceramic beads does not change much over the centuries. Beads of this style were used from the Iron Age to at least the medieval periods and cannot be dated with certainty.
