Registered Find Basics

Interpretation

    • Iron object noted in the excavation as a strap. It is curved, fully broken at one terminal and partially at the other and does not have any obvious attachments. It appears to be wrought iron rather than cast and it is likely that it is not a strap but rather agricultural related as a component part of machinery. The length is 103mm; the width is 28mm, thickness 4mm and the weight 29.31g.
