- Northern edge of Guesten Hall

- This 'Moat Trench' was positioned along an active drainage system at the north of the Guesten Hall thought to be an old medieval moated system. The potential of it connecting to the exisiting fishpond were not discovered but that would make a enclosed space around the abbey.
