Registered Find Basics

Interpretation

    • Iron object noted in the excavation as a sickle possibly due to an attachment at the apex of the curve. The object does not appear to be wrought iron but rather cast and it would seem likely that it is agricultural related probably a component part of machinery. The length is 105mm; the width is 65mm, thickness 30mm and the weight 135.54g.
