Narrative

    • A pit was cut into what appears to be the subsoil of the site. This was then filled with a firm fill of material similar to that in F2501 and context 25017 with packing (context 25014) further placed around this.

Dating Narrative

    • No material culture was recovered from the feature despite it being half sectioned. In section the fill of the posthole cuts the sub soil (context 25002) however this subsoil is also placed above the packing of the post hole it is possible that the subsoil covering this context was removed during initial cleaning of the site or when the topsoil was stripped
