  • I've always been interested in history and archaeology, and took part with DigVentures for a weekend last year. It was amazing, great archaeology, interesting people and I learnt a lot. I couldn't wait to come back again this year. It's a fantastic project to support.
  • The best artefact that I found was a mid-13th to 14th century jug handle fragment. I have been working in Trench 8, and it has been really nice to work in the shadow of the abbey and to try to unpick the old 80s excavation. I find DigVentures really accessible, it is usually really hard to get an in on an archaeological site. The people here are great and the talks have really good variety, even better than last year.
